Pay On Behalf Of Endorsement

This Endorsement Changes the Policy. Please Read It Carefully.

This endorsement modifies insurance provided under the following:

CyberGuard Policy

In consideration of the premium charged for the Policy, it is hereby understood and agreed that:

  1. With respect to parts C. Data Restoration, D. System Restoration, E. Business Interruption, F. Contingent Business Interruption, G. Reputational Harm, H. Crisis Communications, and I. Cryptojacking of SECTION I – 1ST PARTY INSURING AGREEMENTS, the clause “We will indemnify the Insured Organization” shall be deleted and replaced with “We will indemnify or pay on behalf of the Insured Organization.”

  2. Part B. Cyber Extortion of SECTION I – 1st PARTY INSURING AGREEMENTS is hereby deleted and replaced as follows:

    We will:

    1. pay on behalf of the Insured Organization reasonable and necessary fees under parts 1. and 2. of Cyber Extortion Loss; and

    2. indemnify the Insured Organization for reasonable and necessary fees under part 3. of Cyber Extortion Loss, incurred as a direct result of an Extortion Demand first discovered by the Insured Organization during the Policy Period.

All Other Terms and Conditions of the Policy Remain Unchanged.
